I have two Libraries in Final Cut Pro X 10.2.3 that I would like to merge, so that all media and cuts are in one place. I know that I can edit between them but merging would help me to reversion old projects and copy edited clip sections much more easily as well as finding the clips I used in the earlier Library. I also want to store all the material on my client's hard drive in one place.

There is no merge Library function.
You can Move or Copy Events Projects or clips between Libraries.
I prefer to Copy to a Library to make sure all is well before deleting ect.

Thanks Al, this is certainly a solution. Copying the event will work for me, but I'm gonna need a bigger boat!

I think this means more drive space!!
It's actually best to have your stuff on a seperate media drive other than the system drive of your Mac.

Indeed...! This stuff is all actually on a client's external hard drive, which is the problem, they need to give me a bigger one. Your help is much appreciated.
